Harold P. Music was a U.S. Navy Veteran
Harold P. Music, age 85, of Ada, passed away at Lima Memorial Health System on Wednesday, November 6, 2024.
He was born on September 26, 1939 in Floyd County, Kentucky to Wayne and Virginia (Harmon) Music. On February 20, 1965 Harold married Sharon Wells and she survives in Ada.
Harold is also survived by his two sons: Todd (Lisa) Music of Richwood and Mark Music of Ada; three grandchildren: Kelsey Walczak Music, Kendal Walczak Music and Cooper Walczak Music; three sisters: Janice Hopson of Tennessee, Pam (Dennis) Rudasill of Ada and Kathy (Rick) Osborn of Kenton; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Wayne and Virginia Music; and his older infant sister, who passed at birth.
Harold was a 1958 graduate of Hardin Northern High School, and retired from Ada Schools. Harold was a U.S. Navy Veteran. He was a member of the Ada Church of Christ. Harold enjoyed vacationing in the Great Smokey Mountains and working and restoring classic cars. He loved watching his grandchildren’s school and sports activities, they were his whole world.
Funeral Services will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 13, 2024 at Hanson-Neely-Allison Funeral & Cremation Services, Ada with Pastor Jacob Reel officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Ada with graveside military service conducted by the Ada VFW Honor Guard.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 12, 2024 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Hanson-Neely-Allison Funeral & Cremation Services, Ada and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 225 North Michigan Avenue, Chicago, Illinois 60601.
