Jane M. Gilbert worked for Speedway
Jane M. Gilbert, age 62, of Lima, passed away on Friday, December 27, 2024 at Mercy Health-St. Rita’s Medical Center, Lima.
She was born on June 2, 1962 in Lima, Ohio to Gene and Irene (Onken) Ericson. Her father, Gene preceded her in death and her mother, Irene survives in Martinsburg, WV. On March 15, 2013 Jane married Robert E. Gilbert and he preceded her in death on December 23, 2017.
Jane is survived by her children: Jessica Ericson of Connersville, Indiana, Andrea (Shawn) Kipp of Lima, Daniel Helton of Huber Heights, Danielle Helton of Lima, Jadyn Jones of Lima and Nicole N. Jones of Lima; eight grandchildren: Camdyn Boyd, Ava Helton, Sarah Harris, Adam Harris, Olivia Harris, Kiegan Boyd, Grayson Slone and Emmy Slone; step children: Christina A. (Michael) Frazier, Robert E. Gilbert, Jr. and Maria R. Gilbert; step grandchildren: Joscelynn G. Gallimore, Blake A. Wagoner, Jacoby D. Gallimore, Summer R. Gilbert, Carson D. Gilbert, Joseph Kipp and Alexis Kipp; a brother, David (Lisa) Ericson; and two sisters: Susan Stults and Melissa Layton.
Jane worked as a manager for Speedway.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
