Stabbing incident at Alger bar on December 28
McCrary charged with felonious assault

On December 28, 2024 at approximately 11:43 p.m., the Hardin County Central Dispatch Center received two separate calls regarding an incident at the Oak Barrel Pub in Alger.
Upon the arrival of Deputies, three individuals appeared to have multiple injuries from an altercation that had taken place. Upon further investigation, it was determined that there had been a fight that resulted in stabbing injuries to all three individuals.
The two victims were taken to local area hospitals, where one is in critical condition, and another was transported to a regional hospital for further medical care and is in stable condition.
The suspect, Bradley McCrary of Alger, was placed under arrest, treated for his injuries, and later transported to Multi-County Correctional Center in Marion. Charges of Felonious Assault have been filed against Mr. McCrary.
