In January of 1974, the Hollies released their hit The Air That I Breathe, which reached #2 in the United Kingdom and #6 in the United States. The English rock band was formed in 1962 in Manchester, England by boyhood friends Allan Clarke and Graham Nash. Nash left the group in 1968 to form Crosby, Stills & Nash. Graham Nash rejoined the group for a brief period in 1981 to record a new album. The Hollies were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2010, while Crosby, Stills & Nash were inducted in 1997.

FROM FACEBOOK__The Ada Public Library has added 158 books to its stacks thanks to a grant from the State Library of Ohio and the Institute of Museum and Library Services. 

The collection of books has been added to the children's, tweens and teens collections thanks to the Celebrating Ohio Book Authors award. The library has posted that it's "beyond thankful and excited for this amazing grant."

The sights and sounds of celebration filled the air on a beautiful summer evening with the return of Ada’s beloved Patriotic Pops. The event, with organizing spearheaded by local resident Bryan Marshall, brought together hundreds of residents and visitors to celebrate not only America’s 250th anniversary, but also the preservation of a cherished Ada tradition.
