ADA__The Ada High School football team rode a big second quarter to soundly defeat visiting Arcadia 35-0 in a Blanchard Valley Conference contest at War Memorial Stadium on Friday, September 26.

The Bulldogs scored three consecutive touchdowns in the second period to break a scoreless tie and build a commanding 21-0 lead at halftime.

SEPT 24 MEDIA RELEASE__The Oho State University Extension in Hardin County is providing free fall cover crop seed to residents with vegetable gardens in Hardin County. Any Hardin County resident can receive up to 3 pounds of a cover crop seed mix for their vegetable garden.

Residents should know their garden size and can pick up seeds at the OSU Extension office during business hours beginning on Monday, September 29 until supplies are gone. The office is located at 1021 West Lima Street, Suite 103, Kenton, OH 43326 and is open Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

FINDLAY__The Ada High School boys golf team competed well in the 12-team Div. III sectional tournament at Sycamore Springs Golf Course in Findlay on Thursday, September 25.

The Bulldogs finished ninth with 382 strokes. Powerhouse BVC champion Van Buren easily won the sectional title at 314 strokes. New Riegel finished a distant second (338), followed by Carey (354).

Only the top three teams and three individuals from non-qualifying teams advance to the district tournament next week.
