2025 Conservation Tillage Club Program
Provided by Ohio State University Extension in Hardin County
Hardin County – The Conservation Tillage Club program is set to continue in 2025. This year, the program has moved and will be held at Mid-Ohio Energy Cooperative, Inc. located at 1210 West Lima Street, Kenton, OH 43326.
Dates, speakers and topics:
• January 16: H2Ohio Program Update/Overview of Pilot Watershed Program Update by Terry Mescher, H2Ohio Program Manager with the Ohio Department of Agriculture and Dr. Jay Martin with the Ohio State University
• January 30: Soybean Weed Control and Cover Crops by Dr. Alyssa Essman, Assistant Professor and Weed Science Specialist with The Ohio State University
• February 13: Current Issues in Agriculture Law by Peggy Kirk Hall, J.D., Attorney and Director of the Agriculture and Resource Law Program with Ohio State University Extension
• February 27: Natural Resources Conservation Service Update by Cristhian Carrasquillo, Soil Conservationist with the United States Department of Agriculture’s Natural Resources Conservation Service
Doors will open at 8:00 a.m. with breakfast. The program will begin at 8:30 a.m. and last until approximately 9:30 a.m. At the request of the facility, please do not park in the grass.
