Meyer Hall was named for the university’s seventh president, Samuel Lewis Meyer.
Construction began in November 1968 and the building was dedicated Oct. 3, 1970. The building cost roughly $3,200,000. Originally, the structure was called the Basic Sciences Building, since it was home to the biology, chemistry, mathematics and physics departments.
Becky Neville’s Main Street Ada real estate brokerage became an independent agency this spring. Its name is now Beacon Realty.
“We continue with the same great service and professional attitude toward real estate,” she said.
Neville’s real estate background goes back 30 years in Hardin County. In July 2001, she opened her office on Main Street.
“I’m expanding our services. We now offer appraisals and market analysis,” said Neville, who is a licensed residential real estate appraiser in addition to being a broker.
