Ada's Police Chief Michael Harnishfeger received the Liberty Bell Award from the Hardin County Bar Association on Thursday, June 26.
The award is given to someone who promotes a better understanding of the rule of law, encourages greater respect for law and the courts and contributes to good government in Hardin County.
Kathleen "Katie" Wright, 84, died on Thursday, June 26, 2014, at 3:30 a.m. at Shawnee Manor, Lima.
She was born on Oct. 27, 1929, in Floyd County, Kentucky, to Willie and Sarah (Puckett) Wright, they preceded her in death.
Kathleen worked at the Ada Kroger Store and later the Marion Kroger Store. She attended Lonesome Valley United Baptist Church of Alger. She attended McGuffey High School. s.

Marjorie L. "Marge" McKee, 73, died at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, June 24, 2014, at her residence in Ada, Ohio.
She was born Sept. 6, 1940, in Allen County Ohio to Glenn and Helen (Allstetter) Zimmerly and they are both deceased. She married Ronald D. McKee on June 9, 1957 and he survives in Ada.
Marjorie was a homemaker; a member of the First Baptist Church of Ada and attended Ada High School.
