By Luis Franco Rangel, 3rd grade – Ada Barnyard Farmers
The 2025 4-H season started. Ada Barnyard Farmers went to the bowling alley for a kickoff party. The whole 4-H group had pizza, we enjoyed bowling and playing in the arcade.
In our first meeting, we had elections. The current officers are:
President: Sam Santillanez
Vice President: Mariah Franco Rangel
Secretary: Maverick Hughes
Treasurer: Dallas Willson
Reporter: Luis Franco Rangel
Photographer: Waylon Clemos
Health: Jordon Hall
Safety: Tucker Hazelton
Recreation: Lily Reins and Kendal Fisher
We learned what to do when your animals are stressed out, about animals’ health, how to take care of our animals and safety in the quality assurance.
Catherine Santillanez and Sam Santillanez did a presentation on how to do good and bad presentations. Amelia Clemos did a presentation on how to do an origami piece, and finally Waylon Clemons showed the group on how to do a fishing knot two different ways on a pole.
