Bulldog Zimmerman named HM All-Ohio boys basketball
By Cort Reynolds
COLUMBUS – The 2025 Divisions IV, V, VI and VII boys basketball All-Ohio teams were announced on March 26 by the Ohio Prep Sports Media Association.
Ada junior wing Zack Zimmerman was named honorable mention all-state for Div. VI. The 6-2 junior averaged a team-high 14.2 points per game and led the Bulldogs in three-point field goals made this past season.
Zimmerman hit several big late-game shots to help lead Ada to a 14-9 overall record (7-3 Blanchard Valley Conference) in 2024-25.
The All-Ohio teams are based on nominations from the seven districts of the OPSMA, which vote on the all-district teams from regular-season accomplishments.
Trey Sagester of New Madison Tri-Village was named Div. VI Ohio Player of the Year.
Mason Lang of Div. VI state champion Woodsfield Monroe Central was named Coach of the Year.
