Buckeye East hosts free LMH CPR & AED event
Lima Memorial Health System invites the community to become “Emergency Ready” at a special CPR & AED Awareness Event on Tuesday, April 22, from 10-10:30 a.m. at Buckeye East Coffee Shop, 123 E Buckeye Ave.
Attendees will learn about Early Heart Atack Care, how to perform Hands-Only CPR and how to use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)—skills that can mean the difference between life and death in a cardiac emergency. No registration is required.
“Emergencies can happen anytime, anywhere,” shared Doug LaRue, Lima Memorial EMS Manager. “This demonstration is a quick, easy way for people to learn how they can save a life and be Emergency Ready.”
As part of the event, Lima Memorial will also be placing a brand-new AED at One More gym in Ada, expanding access to life-saving equipment within the community.
Guests are encouraged to stop by Buckeye East Coffee Shop, grab a coffee and take just a few minutes to gain confidence in responding to an emergency.
