By Cort Reynolds

The Bulldogs dropped to 3-8 overall and 2-3 in the BVC with the defeat, while Leipsic improved to 8-4 and 5-1 in BVC play after the win.
Leipsic smacked five doubles among their eight hits, and the Vikings drew nine walks. Ada slapped six hits and coaxed two walks.
Ada shortstop Levi Green doubled in the fifth inning and added a single. Mason Wibley doubled home a run in the fifth, and also scored a run.
Bulldog sophomore catcher Andrew Allen stroked a single and wa shit by a pitch. Tyler Stauffer and Thad Smith both singled.
The Bulldogs committed two errors, while the Vikings made one miscue. Ada stranded six runners, while Leipsic left five on base.
Ada (2-3 BVC) hosts unbeaten league foe Van Buren (7-0, 3-0 BVC) Wednesday, April 23. The Bulldogs then entertain local arch-rival and former backyard league foe Allen East (4-4) Thursday.
