Ada’s Green 2nd team All-BVC

Ada senior shortstop Levi Green was named second team All-Blanchard Valley Conference in voting recently conducted by the league baseball coaches.
Green batted .412, stole a team-high 24 bases, hit five doubles and led Ada in runs as well.
Junior pitcher/infielder Mason Wibley and sophomore catcher Andrew Allen were named honorable mention all-league.
Wibley was one of the team’s top pitchers and hitters. He led Ada in innings pitched (40) and doubles (six).
Allen led the Bulldogs in batting average (.418), and was among the Ada leaders in runs, steals and runs batted in.
Liberty-Benton won the BVC baseball title with a 10-0 record. Van Buren came in second at 9-1, followed by Elmwood in third (8-2).
Ada ended up 3-7 in their first BVC season to finish eighth in the 11-team league standings.
