Anita L. Dearth worked for County Line Church
Anita L. Dearth, age 78, of Ada, passed away on Saturday, June 21, 2025 at her residence, surrounded by her family.
She was born on September 8, 1946 in Lima, Ohio to the late Phillip and Ruby (Shrider) Long. On February 18, 1966, Anita married John N. Dearth and he died December 8, 2021.
Anita is survived by her two children: Tim (Elena) Dearth of Ada and Jennifer Dearth of Findlay; three grandchildren: Evan (Danielle) Dearth, Haley Dearth, and Hattie (Clint) Leydig; a brother, Phil Long of Celina; a brother-in-law, Norman Welch; and sister-in-law, Alma Long.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Perry Long; and sister, Joyce Welch.
Anita was a member of the County Line Church, Harrod. She served as the secretary of the church for twenty-seven years and worked at Ohio Northern University, Ada prior to working at the church.
Funeral Services will begin at 12:00 PM on Wednesday, June 25, 2025 at County Line Church, 4227 N. Hardin Road, Harrod, Ohio 45850 with Pastor Chris Ewing officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Ada.
Friends may call two hours prior to the service on Wednesday, June 25 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at County Line Church, 4227 N. Hardin Road, Harrod.
