The next park board meeting is June 16, 2025

JUNE 4 MEDIA RELEASE

May 19, 2025 

The Park District Liberty Twp Hardin Co Ohio met on the above date in the park office. Present were Bob Szuch, Fred Reichert, Neal Dumbaugh, Ken Wolke Park Manager and Mary Jane Lee, clerk. Guest present were the Architect from Ottawa Oh who is working on the Shelter house and concession stand drawings. Also present were representatives of the Pony Pals horse club. They are going to have several events at the park and had some questions. Ada Athletic Booster officers were present to have the architect design how they wanted the layout of the inside of the concession stand to be. [Ada High School Principal] Dan Lee was also present. 

The minutes were read and approved. All were in favor and the motion passed. The financial report was read and approved. All were in favor and the motion passed. The board asked the clerk to move $40,300.00 from miscellaneous to Capital Improvement. 

The park received $2,400.00 from the Hardin County Foundation. This money will be used to buy composite picnic tables for the new shelter house and concession stand area. The board asked Ken [Wolke] to order 4 tables. 

Fred made a motion to adjourn and Neal seconded the motion.
