Iris K. Mumaugh was a care giver and worked for the Red Cross
Funeral and visitation scheduled for August 28
Iris K. Mumaugh, age 80, of Ridgeway, passed away on Sunday, August 24, 2025 at her home in Ridgeway.
She was born on December 7, 1944 in Alger, Ohio to the late Kelley and Irene (Brewer) Rowe. Iris married Donald P. Mumaugh and he preceded her in death in 1993. She was also previously married to James Crowe.
Iris is survived by her two daughters: Tammi (James) Miller of Sidney and Angie Dankworth of Ridgeway; stepdaughter, Katherine (Paul) Wilson of Miami, FL; six grandchildren: DJ, Racha, Matthew, Joshua, Kayla and Dayna; three great grandchildren: Payton, Willow and Ivy; and sisters: Louise (Burnise) Perry of Fayetteville, NC and Josephine (Roy) Robinson of Ridgeway.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Lisa Mumaugh; and sister, Shirley Rowe.
Iris worked as a care giver and previously worked for the Red Cross. She was a member of the Wake Up The World Ministries, Bellefontaine. She loved her red 1964 ½ Ford Mustang and “Racing” the boys in town. Iris loved her grandkids.
Funeral services will begin at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 28, 2025 at Hanson-Neely-Allison Funeral & Cremation Services, Alger with Pastor Terry Robinson officiating. Burial will be in Preston Cemetery, Alger.
Friends may call two hours prior to the service on Thursday, August 28 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Hanson-Neely-Allison Funeral & Cremation Services, Alger.
