Melville L. “Roy” Craig worked for 5-C Roofing
Melville L. “Roy” Craig, age 93, of Dola, passed away on Monday, September 8, 2025 at Vancrest of Ada.
He was born on September 18, 1931 in McGuffey, Ohio to the late Melville F. and Cleola (Smith) Craig.
On October 11, 1952 Roy married Chrystal J. Seigneur and she preceded him in death May 7, 2011.
Roy is survived by his three sons: Terrence (Jane) Craig of Ada, Timothy (Pam) Craig of Ada and Carlton (Patty) Craig of Las Vegas, Nevada; seven grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Steve Craig.
Roy was a roofer with 5-C Roofing of Ada. He attended Grace Gospel Church, Ada.
Funeral Services will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 17, 2025 at Hanson-Neely-Allison Funeral & Cremation Services, Ada with Jeff Price officiating. Burial will be in Preston Cemetery, Alger.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Wednesday, September 17 from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at Hanson-Neely-Allison Funeral & Cremation Services, Ada.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 225 North Michigan Avenue, Chicago, IL 60601 and/or Grace Gospel Church, 321 North Gilbert Street, Ada, Ohio 45810.
