OCT 21 MEDIA RELEASE__The Village of Ada has announced the following leaf pick-up schedule and instructions on how to participate. The Village has designated four districts and each will have leaves picked up on a set date.

Main St. and the railroad tracks are the dividing lines that create the quadrants. See the attached map.

Dates are subject to change due to weather or emergencies.

2025 LEAF PICK-UP SCHEDULE

NORTHWEST- DISTRICT A
MONDAYS: Pickup Dates – Oct. 27, Nov. 3, 10, 17, Dec. 1

NORTHEAST - DISTRICT B
TUESDAYS: Pickup Dates –Oct. 28, Nov. 4, 11, 18, Dec. 2.

SOUTHEAST - DISTRICT C
WEDNESDAYS: Pickup Dates – Oct. 29, Nov. 5, 12, 19, Dec. 3.

SOUTHWEST - DISTRICT D
THURSDAYS: Pickup Dates – Oct. 30, Nov. 6, 13, 20, Dec. 4.

NOTE: There will be no scheduled leaf pickup on the following dates: Nov. 24, 25, 26, 27 and 28 (the week of Thanksgiving).

THE LEAVES
1. All leaves must be raked into the tree lawn area; please do not rake leaves into the street.
2. Rake leaves into open areas; avoid putting them around trees, street signposts, utility poles or guy wires.
3. Leaves must be in the tree lawn area the day before the scheduled pickup date.
4. Tree branches and wood debris are not permitted in the piles. If leaf piles contain these items, the piles will not be picked up and it will be the resident’s responsibility to remove the leaves and debris from the tree lawn area promptly.
5. Leaves can also be dropped off at the Village’s Green Waste site. Call the Village office to set an appointment time to drop off leaves!

STREET PARKING
1. Vehicles must be moved from street parking.
2. No parking is permitted on any street within the pickup area on the pickup date.
3. If any vehicles block leaf piles, the piles will not be picked up.

REFUSE/RECYCLING TOTES:
1. To allow plenty of room for leaf pickup equipment, please remove garbage and recycle totes from the tree lawn immediately after refuse pickup.
