Funeral announcement for Linda Carol Jones
Linda Carol Jones, age 81, of Alger, passed away on Monday, November 24, 2025, at Logan Acres in Bellefontaine.
She was born on April 5, 1944, in Kentucky to the late Russell and Daisy (Moore) Spencer. She married Michael Jones, and he preceded her in death.
Linda is survived by her three children: Lori (Dennis) Harden of Shelbyville, TN, Loren (Joyce) Gayheart of Alger, and Chad (Natasha) Conley of Kenton; seven grandchildren: Chris, Nick, Jamie, Blake, Austin, Seth and Skylynn; thirteen great grandchildren; three brothers: J.C. Spencer, Obe Spencer and Darvin Spencer; and six sisters: Katie “Tay” Bolen, Betty (Chester) Tuttle, Muriel (Ronnie) Johnson, Ruth (Carl) Howard, Gail (Dave) Sowers and Pat (Jeff) Henry.
Also preceding her in death is her sister, Ann Spradlin.
Linda enjoyed spending time at the cabin. She loved her family, especially her time spent with her sisters.
Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 28, 2025, at Hanson-Neely-Allison Funeral & Cremation Services, Alger, with Pastor Don Webb officiating. Burial will be in Preston Cemetery, Alger.
Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service on Friday, November 28, from 9:00 -11:00 a.m. at Hanson-Neely-Allison Funeral & Cremation Services, Alger.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
