On the other Icon: Public screening of "Unexpected Peace"

A public screening at 7 p.m. on November 18
NOV 4 MEDIA RELEASE__D. Michael Hostetler, award-winning producer, director and communications consultant from Kitchener, Ontario, will present "Making the Documentary Film Unexpected Peace" during Bluffton University's Forum at 11 a.m. on Nov. 18 in Yoder Recital Hall.
Hostetler will introduce the process and vision behind his new documentary, which explores nonviolent and community-based peacebuilding practices that challenge traditional responses to violence.
The film follows Dr. Jonathan Bornman, a social anthropologist, as he explores the stories of three communities--the Amish in Pennsylvania, Sufi Muslims in Harlem, and interfaith groups in Indonesia--working for peace.
