Bulldog swim teams compete at Napoleon Invite

NAPOLEON–The Ada High School girls and boys swim teams competed at the tough 17-team Napoleon Wildcat Invitational on Saturday, December 13.
Bryan captured the boys team crown with 377 points. Lima Shawnee was a distant second with 274 points. The Ada boys also came in ninth with 84 points.
Host Napoleon won the girls team title with 402 points. Ottawa-Glandorf took second with 371 points. The Bulldog girls finished 11th with 31 points.
BOYS RESULTS
Ada junior Jacob Szippl touched eighth in the 100-yard freestyle (55.12) in a field of 59 swimmers to pace the Bulldog boys. He also finished ninth out of 21 in the 100 backstroke (64.89).
Bulldog junior Tim Chrissobolis took eighth in a field of 18 in the 100 butterfly (63.98).
The Ada boys 200 free relay quartet came in seventh (1:46.14) out of 18 teams. The Bulldog male 200 medley relay foursome also ended up seventh out of 17 teams (2:01.89).
GIRLS RESULTS
Bulldog senior Lydia Demascio touched seventh out of 24 swimmers in the 100 backstroke (68.56). She also came in 10th amid a field of 89 in the 50 free (27.86).
Ada senior Alyssa Nau came in 11th place in the 200 free (2:36.9).
Sophomore Alivia Montgomery ended up 14th out of 80 in the 100 free (65.91). She also finished 14th in the 100 back (1:16.9).
