OhioHealth Hardin Memorial Hospital celebrates completion of new MRI department
MEDIA RELEASE–OhioHealth Hardin Memorial Hospital is celebrating a major milestone in expanding access to advanced imaging services with the completion and opening of its newly constructed MRI department. Community leaders, physicians, and associates gathered for a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Wednesday, December 10, marking the official launch of the enhanced space.
The MRI department is the result of a $2 million investment and features state-of-the-art imaging technology designed to improve diagnostic accuracy, enhance patient comfort, and expand the hospital’s capacity to serve more patients close to home. It also streamlines workflow for clinical teams, supporting faster turnaround times and a more seamless patient experience.
“This investment reinforces our commitment to bringing the best possible care to Hardin County,” said Jim Whitaker, senior advisor of operations at Hardin Memorial Hospital. “With the new MRI department, patients no longer need to travel for advanced imaging. We’re proud to deliver high-quality, compassionate care right here in our community.”
