April 11 Hardin County Goat Banquet announced
Scholarship and royalty application deadline is March 27
MEDIA RELEASE__The seventh annual Hardin County Goat Banquet will be held on Saturday, April 11 at the Kenton Missionary Alliance Church. The doors will open at 5:00 p.m. and the banquet will begin at 5:30 p.m. There is no charge to attend the banquet.
This is a free, family-friendly event. There will be a potluck-style supper with the main dish and drinks provided. Guests are asked to bring a side dish and/or dessert if they are able.
Door prize tickets will be given out at the door. There will be a Grand Raffle with 3 big prizes, including a live goat. A 50/50 raffle and a silent auction for gift baskets will also take place. The proceeds help keep the banquet running to honor and recognize area youth in the goat industry, crown the new royalty and offer scholarships.
