Douglas Charles Hurley worked for Roundys
Douglas Charles Hurley, age 74, passed peacefully in his sleep on February 22, 2026.
He was born on June 17, 1951, in Lima, Ohio, to the late Victor and Vera (Henkle) Hurley. On January 1, 1984, Doug married Tami Truman, and she survives in Ada.
Doug retired from Roundys after working for thirty years. He enjoyed volunteering at Lima Memorial Hospital. He was a collector of John Deere tractors and Case knives. Doug enjoyed sports. He was an avid Cleveland Browns and Upper Scioto Valley basketball fan.
Also surviving are his children: Chad (Shelly) Hurley of Troy and Becky (Joe) Bush of Bellefontaine; three grandchildren: Kacie (Chris) Fulmer and Alyssa (James) Jones and Anika Hurley; great grandchildren, Everly & Clayton Fulmer; a brother, Mike (Cheryl) Hurley of Alger; and a sister, Sue Nickerson of Myrtle Beach, SC.
He was preceded in death by a grandson, Jordan Bush; two brothers, Dick and Jerry Hurley; and a sister, Sharon Pitts.
A visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at Hanson-Neely-Allison Funeral & Cremation Services, Ada. A private graveside service will be at a later date at Roundhead Cemetery, Roundhead.
