Hardin County Job & Family Services updates Social Services leadership team
MEDIA RELEASE__Hardin County Job & Family Services (HCJFS) has announced updates to its Social Services leadership team as part of the agency’s continued focus on strengthening services for children and families.
Abram DeWeese will join HCJFS as Assistant Director / Social Services Administrator, effective March 2. DeWeese brings extensive experience in child welfare leadership, including oversight of child protective services operations, team supervision, quality practice initiatives, and collaboration with community partners.
Shelly Brown joined the agency as Intake Supervisor on February 23. Brown brings both frontline and supervisory child welfare experience, including prior work as a Social Services Worker and Supervisor in a county Job & Family Services agency. Her background in intake processes, safety assessment, and compliance will support strong early intervention practices.
HCJFS also recognizes Angela Frater, Ongoing/Permanency Services Supervisor, for her continued leadership and dedication throughout recent agency transitions. Frater has provided stability and consistency for staff and families and will continue to serve as an integral member of the agency’s leadership team.
