Project Linus blanket collection at Ada Public Library
FROM FACEBOOK__The Ada Public Library, 320 N. Main St., is collecting new, handmade, washable blankets for Project Linus. These blankets will be gifted to provide security and comfort to children ages 0-18 who are seriously ill, traumatized, or otherwise in need.
Project Linus welcomes blankets of all sizes and styles, but please be sure that blankets are kept free from smoke, pet hair, and strong fragrances.
According to the www.projectlinus.org website, 10,359,234+ blankets have been delivered since 1995.
Project Linus shares information on sewing, knitting and crocheting blankets.
The organization is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation.
