Robert L. Shaw worked for Procter & Gamble
Robert L. (Bob) Shaw, Jr., 69, of Ada, passed away on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton, surrounded by his family.
He was born on July 23, 1956, in Lima to Robert L. and Rachel (Vermillion) Shaw, Sr. On June 30, 1979 Bob married Kathleen (Earl) Shaw and she survives in Ada.
Also surviving are his children: Robert (Brittany) Shaw, III of Ada, Sarah (Quinton) Schmidt of Belle Center and Adam Shaw of Ada; five grandchildren: Bryden, Issaih, Wyatt, Maverick and Daphnie; and sister, Rebecca “Becky” Brooks of Ft. Wayne, IN.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Roselyn Shaw.
Bob worked for Procter & Gamble of Lima. He was a graduate of Upper Scioto Valley High School. He was an avid reader and enjoyed arrowhead hunting. Bob was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
Funeral Services will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at Hanson-Neely-Allison Funeral & Cremation Services, Ada, with Pastor Damian Tibbs officiating. Burial will be in Preston Cemetery, Alger.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 9, 2026 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Hanson-Neely-Allison Funeral & Cremation Services, Ada and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
