Ada girls win quad meet at Allen East
Hickman wins 2 races / Results for Columbus Grove Invitational

HARROD __The Ada girls track and field team won a four-team meet at Allen East on Tuesday, April 21.
The Bulldog girls scored 90 points to out-pace second-place Elgin (78). Delphos Jefferson tallied 46.5 points, while AE was fourth at 27.5.
Host AE racked up 124.5 points to win the boys meet. Ada took second at 67. Elgin tallied 37 points to end up third, while DJ scored 23.5.
GIRLS RESULTS
Bulldog senior Anna Conley took first in the discus (98-5), and she came in second in the shot put (29-1).
Ada senior Jordyn Smith won the long jump at 14-8, followed by soph teammate Rose Baxter (13-5) in second place. Bulldog Kenzley Artis took third (13-3).
The powerful Baxter captured first in the 400 meters (63.2), while freshman Artis took third in 71.4.
Freshman Lydia Schellhammer took second in the 3200 meters (15:29.8). Sophomore Avary Acheson was third in the 3200 (15:31.6). Acheson also came in third in the 1600 meters (6:46.8).
Smith sped to third in the 200 meters (28.9). Smith and Baxter tied for third in the 100 meters (13.4).
The Ada girls swept the 4x200 and 4x400 relay races. Kyla Coleman, Ambriel Hollon, Wallace and Charliegh Entinghe won the 4x2 in a time of 1:56.8.
Conley, Aliyah Kober, Haylyn Geiger and Wallace crossed the line first in the 4x4 in 4:58.9.
Kober and Hollon tied for third in the 100 hurdles (18.2). Freshman Piper Wallace took third in the high jump at 4-8.
Sophomore Maeby Alger finished fourth in the 800 meters (3:33.4).
BOYS RESULTS
The Bulldog boys were led by senior Kayleb Hickman, who won the 200-meter dash (22.9) and captured first in the 400 meters (53.3). The speedster also took second in the 100 meters (11.3).
Sophomore Nathan Joochims won the 3200 meters (11:37.9).
Freshman Nathan Mosler took third in the 400 (55.5) and 800-meter runs (2:27.9). He came in second in the 1600 meters (5:21.3).
Senior Braden Smith came in second in the pole vault with a best leap of 11-0.
The Ada boys 4x100 relay team of Hickman, Carson Conley, Aidin Brown and Will Mosler finished second in 46.6.
Ada sophomore Brier Hannah came in third in the shot put (37-9). Conley ended up third in the discus with a best toss of 121-1.
Sophomore Lucas Henson finished fourth in the long jump (16-8).
COLUMBUS GROVE INVITATIONAL
The Ada track and field teams competed at the annual 14-team Columbus Grove Invitational on Friday, April 17.
Host Grove won the boys meet convincingly with 132 points. Arlington was a distant second at 85.83 points. Anna came in third (80), followed by Allen East (58.33) and Botkins (57).
The Ada boys finished eighth out of 14 teams with 42 points.
CG made it a clean sweep by dominating the girls field with 185.5 points. Anna was second at 94.
The Bulldog girls were 10th with 20.75 points, just behind ninth-place rival AE (22).
