Ada Schools recognized as Purple Star honorees
ADA SCHOOLS MEDIA RELEASE__The Ohio Department of Education and Workforce has recognized Ada High School and Ada Elementary School as Purple Star Schools for the Class of 2026.
This distinction reflects the schools’ successful fulfillment of the rigorous standards established by Ohio’s Purple Star Advisory Board. The criteria are designed to ensure schools provide meaningful support to military-connected students and their families.
Military-connected youth often face unique academic and social-emotional challenges, particularly during times of transition, activation, and deployment. The Purple Star designation highlights Ada Schools’ ongoing commitment to meeting these needs and creating a supportive, responsive environment for all students.
The Purple Star designation is valid for three years and will remain in effect through April 2029.
