Bulldog boys and girls track place 4th at 10-team Ram Invite

Hickman wins 2 races

McGUFFEY__The Ada High School boys and girls track and field teams each finished a solid fourth at the 10-team Upper Scioto Valley Ram Invitational meet on Thursday, April 30.

Pandora-Gilboa won the boys team title with 143 points, while Riverdale came in second (124.5). McComb edged out the Bulldog boys for second place, 89-87.

Riverdale easily captured the girls team crown with 171 points. Delphos Jefferson finished a distant second with 79.5 points, followed by P-G (66) and Ada (54).

The host USV boys finished ninth (21), while the Rams girls (22) came in 10th.

Ada senior speedster Kayleb Hickman won the 200 and 400-meter dashes, and took second in the 100, to pace the Bulldogs. 

Ada senior Jordyn Smith captured first in the long jump, with sophomore teammate Rose Baxter second.

The Bulldogs host the annual Hardin County meet on Tuesday, May 5 at 4:30 p.m.

The Ada Invitational is Saturday, May 9.
