ADA__The Ada High School volleyball team was upset in four sets by visiting county rival Hardin Northern in a non-league match on Saturday, September 5.

Northern knocked off the previously unbeaten Bulldogs 25-12, 25-21, 23-25, 25-16. The Bulldogs fell to 6-1 after suffering their first loss of the season.

HN improved to 4-3 with the road victory.

ADA__The Ada High School football team defeated visiting Arlington in a 41-28 shootout to celebrate the home and Blanchard Valley Conference opener on a hot night Friday, September 4 at War Memorial Stadium.

Ada jumped out to leads of 15-0 and 22-6 at the half but had to stave off a rally by the potent Red Devils. Scrappy Arlington pulled within 29-28 in the fourth quarter. But Ada responded well by scoring two straight touchdowns to clinch the victory.
