County Line Church celebrates 140 years with Birthday Bash
Sunday, July 26: Worship service at 10:30 a.m., free lunch and activities to follow
MEDIA RELEASE__County Line Church, 4227 N Hardin Rd. Harrod, will celebrate 140 years of ministry and God's faithfulness on Sunday, July 26, with a special day of worship, baptisms, food and family activities. The church invites the entire community, along with anyone who has ever called County Line Church home, to join in the celebration.
Founded in 1886, County Line Church has served generations of families in the Ada. Allen East and Bluffton area. Through changing times and changing generations, the church has remained committed to its mission of seeking God, building believers, and restoring the broken.
The celebration begins with a 10:30 a.m. worship service featuring baptisms and stories of new life in Christ. Following the service, lunch will be provided, and all are invited to stay for an afternoon of games, activities, fellowship, reconnecting with old friends and making new ones.
"We're not just celebrating 140 years of history," said Lead Pastor Chris Ewing. “we're celebrating 140 years of God's faithfulness, and we believe He's not finished yet."
The church especially hopes to welcome former attendees and families with connections to County Line Church. Whether someone attended decades ago, grew up in the church, or has only recently become part of the church, all are invited to celebrate together.
The 140th Birthday Bash will take place Sunday, July 26, beginning at 10:30 a.m. at County Line Church with lunch served immediately after the service.
