Municipal Pool cancels Tuesday night late swim
FROM FACEBOOK__On June 10, The Village of Ada announced: "after much consideration we have decided to cancel Tuesday night swim for the rest of the season. Unfortunately, we had groups of kids that were not following the rules; some were asked to leave after multiple warnings. Many of those people were very disrespectful and several threatened harm to our staff.
"Our pool staff is mainly comprised of teenagers, and what is meant to be a fun job and learning experience has become an ever growing challenge for them. With that said we may adjust our schedules and host other events in place of Tuesday night swim. Follow us for future updates.
"Another issue we would like to address is alcohol and marijuana: We have a zero tolerance policy, and there is to be no alcohol or marijuana anywhere on the premises, including the parking lot. If you smell of alcohol or marijuana, we have the right to refuse entry."
