Sharon E. Fess worked for ATI
Sharon E. Fess, age 82 passed away on Thursday, July 2, 2026 at Bridge Hospice Care Center, Findlay, surrounded by her family.
She was born on March 21, 1944 in Lima, Ohio to the late Robert “Bob” and Frieda (Roush) Hire.
She is survived by a daughter: Cherie (Raymond) Castle of Ada; two grandchildren, Rielyn (Griffin) Cole and Jaden Castle; two brothers: Rick (Ellen) Hire and Bill (Brenda) Hire; a sister: Mary Lou DeLong; and two sisters-in-law: Sara Hire and Kathy Hire.
She was preceded in death by two brothers: Jim Hire and Bobby Hire; a brother-in-law: Bob DeLong.
Sharon worked at ATI in Ada. After retirement, she worked at Kenton Ace Hardware where she found her second family: Dave, Chris, Brandon, and Chrissie. She was an avid OSU Buckeyes fan. Sharon loved her family, especially her grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to Bridge Home Health & Hospice.
