FROM FACEBOOK__Mark your calendars: Beatitdes Community Center, 210 N. Main St., and Bee Home, 228 N. Main St., will be closed for the first week of September.

At this month's Ada Area Chamber of Commerce meeting, which is held at the center, Director Deb Curlis explained that 94,000 pounds of clothing has been processed by thrift store volunteers since January.

Therefore, in celebration of Labor Day, all will take a break during the first week of September and reopen on Tuesday, September 8.

Beatitudes is always looking for volunteers and has many different roles available.
