Rister leads Bulldog golfers to sweep of home quad

HARROD__The Ada High School boys golf team swept a quadrangular match at Colonial Golfers Club on Monday, August 24.
The Bulldog linksters won the match with a low score of 182 strokes. Arlington ended up 10 shots back in second at 192.
Pandora-Gilboa finished a distant third (220), followed by Lima Senior (245).
With the sweep, the Bulldogs improved to 30-3 on the season.
Ada senior Brody Rister was match medalist after firing a solid nine-hole round of 39. Sophomore teammate Arden Shook tied for second place with Arlington’s Deuce Davis at 45.
Senior Lawson Klingler played third for Ada by carding a 48. Max Baumgartner was the fourth Bulldog scorer as he posted a round of 50.
Case Vieira posted a 55, while Gavin Guyton contributed a 59
As the Ada linksters enter the final month of the fall season, they play Arlington and Fort Jennings on Wednesday at Sycamore Springs.
The Bulldogs will compete in the Hardin County Invitational Saturday morning at the Kenton Memorial Park Golf Course.
