Elizabeth Milks was named to the Miami University spring 2020-21 President's List.

Miami University students who are ranked in the top three percent of undergraduate students within each division for second semester 2021-21 have been named to the President's list recognizing academic excellence.

Milks, from Ada, OH, is earning a Bachelor of Arts in Music, Bachelor of Arts in Biology, Premedical Studies.

Kendal Guagenti was named to the Dean's list at Miami University for the 2020-21 Spring semester.

The Dog Days Of Summer

It's hot, boys and girls. Thankfully, my wife finally let me use the air conditioner in our bedroom last night. It is a yearly struggle to get permission from her to use the air conditioner. This year it has not been that hot so far in Japan. But over this past weekend, it got warm quick, fast, and in a hurry. I happily turned my air conditioner on full blast!

The area's favorite red barns are back. Hardin County's Suter's Produce barn plans to open in Kenton on Monday.

Swimmers from around the area aged 4-18 kicked off the 39th annual Elks Invitational Swim Meet and Western Ohio Aquatics League (WOAL) Championship yesterday in Kenton.

Events started at 9 a.m. on Friday and concluded around 2 p.m. Day two of champs will begin today at 9 a.m. and will conclude around 3 p.m. at the Kenton Municipal Swimming pool.
