Frances Coral (Everett) Clum, age 94, died on Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at 5:10 PM at Vancrest of Ada.

She was born September 1, 1924 in Lima, Ohio to Delmar and Lucille (Swick) Everett, who preceded her in death.  Frances married James Corwin Clum on September 8, 1942 and he died November 12, 1992.       

A mom-to-mom sale will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, April 13, in the Ada Depot, 112 Central Ave.

The sale will include gently used baby and child items, such as clothing, toys, games, shoes, bedding, bottles, and maternity items.

Here's the 2018 report for corn, soybeans and wheat

As Hardin County farmers get ready to plant this year’s corn and soybeans, crop yields from the 2018 growing season have been released from the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) National Agricultural Statistics Service.  

Although these crop production numbers are based on estimates, they are used for crop insurance and government reporting purposes.

The Hardin Hoppers and The Barnyard Friends 4-H clubs have several new members this year, with a total of seventeen members.

For their community service project, the club will walk around the coon hunters' club pond.

The club will have a nature-themed booth at the county fair, and also be making 4-H t-shirts this year.

LIMA - Visiting Ada spanked Lima Senior 4-1 Wednesday evening, with the Bulldogs playing many of its newcomers.

The Bulldog netters improved to 3-1 after the victory, while Lima Senior fell to 0-3 with the defeat.

Ada won all three singles matches easily in straight sets, losing just two out of 38 games.

Bulldog sophomore Miranda Wills improved her mark to 3-1 by winning handily at first singles.    

Freshman Dexter Woods won easily at second singles in straight sets to notch his first varsity victory.
