In cooperation with Ada schools, the Ada Icon will post each of the Ada High School class of 2020 seniors in the spotlight. Tabitha Tidd is today's senior in the spotlight.

The word “culture” is defined as the customary beliefs, social forms and material traits of a racial, religious or social group. In more basic language, it’s the values and norms a group of people choose to follow as they coexist. Not unlike humans, a culture can suffer illness too. Current events prove the point.
Main Street Ada is once again a flower garden. All you need to do it to look up. Several hanging baskets of flowers are now on Main from the public library to ONU. Here's a view of the basket near the post office and Presbyterian Church.
The OhioMeansJobs Hardin County announced today that the Job Center will re-open by appointment only starting Monday, June 15.
Only three customers will be allowed in the center at one time to follow social distancing guidelines. To schedule an appointment please call 419-674-2312.

All final Ada school grade cards from Kindergarten through seniors have been mailed and third grade through seniors have been posted to ProgressBook, according to an Ohio Alerts announcement made June 3 by Ada schools.

A reconstruction project of manholes along Main Street and North Avenue is underway this week in Ada.
Green and white markings on the pavement indicate that the work is underway.
Crews from Brenneman Excavating of Elida, have the manhole locations coned off and work is underway. The project is expected to take approximately two weeks, according to village officials.
Traffic will be maintained, but drivers are encouraged to drive slower than usual in the construction area. One purpose of the project is to keep the road level, thus eliminating the dips drivers often feel when driving over a manhole.
