Ada’s 2019 zoning permits totaled an estimated value of $727,631, according to the summary presented to Ada council on Feb. 4 by Michael Harnishfeger, zoning inspector.
Last year saw 41 permits issued, down from 56 in 2018. The report reveals two new single-family homes constructed and several residential additions in 2019.
“The greatest requests for permits dealt with fences and sheds,” said Harnishfeger. “And, in 2019 we had progress on the First United Methodist Church parking lot with the demolition of two neighborhood house.”

Cloth diapers nowadays come in dozens of different types, materials, shapes and colors: all-in-one, prefolds, envelope-style, pocket diaper with inserts, and choice of snaps or velcro closures and so on.
The Lima YMCA will be the host site for the Ohio High School Athletic Association’s D-II Section 5 Sectional meet from 11 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 8.
There will be 14 teams with a total of 237 swimmers from the following schools:
Ada, Celina, Elida, Fostoria, Kenton, Lima Bath, Lima Central Catholic, Lima Shawnee, Marion Local, Minster, New Bremen, Ridgemont, St. Henry and St. Marys Memorial.
