Ada hosts winless Perry in tourney opener

ADA__The highly successful Ada High School softball team was seeded first in their seven-team Northwest 5 Div. VI tournament draw Sunday.

Ada (17-3) will host winless Perry (0-9) on Tuesday, May 12 at 5 p.m. in the first round of tournament play. The Commodores are last in the Northwest Central Conference at 0-5.

The Bulldog/Commodore winner will play the survivor between second seed Carey (8-10) and number seven LCC (3-10) on Tuesday, May 19 at Bath.

FROM FACEBOOK__The Ada Food Pantry has posted a May wishlist for applesauce, boxed potatoes and paper towels.

The Food Pantry is located at 210 S. Main, in the basement of Ada First Presbyterian Church, with the entrance on W. Lincoln Ave.

Hours are Tuesday from 4:00 - 6:00  p.m. and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00  p.m. 

The pantry provides a 2-3 day supply of food to Ada, OH residents, including ONU students. Since 2019 we have also been providing weekend food for Ada Elementary students through the Bulldog Blessings Backpack Program.
