Ada Public Library's staff is preparing for its summer reading program and could use some assistance from its patrons.
According to the staff: All the activities are in place, and the prizes are being delivered daily. But, we need your help. If you have any of these items at home, would you mind donating them for our STEM programs?
Ada Public Library’s adult book discussion group in May will be discussing “The Girls of Atomic City" by Denise Kiernan.
The book discussion, open to the public, is at 7 p.m., Tuesday, May 7, in the library. The monthly discussion group is open to new members and registration is requested.

Book synopsis
"The Girls of Atomic City" tells the unbelievable true story of young women during World War II who worked in a secret city dedicated to making fuel for the first atomic bomb—only they didn’t know that.
The Ada Public Library Board Of Trustees will hold a meeting of the Finance Committee on Wednesday, April 24, at 1:30 p.m. in the Meeting Room of the library.
The word is out - caterpillars are hanging around inside the Ada Public Library. The library staff apparently doesn't mind. In fact, they encourage patrons to stop in and say "hello.'
Ada Public Library’s adult book group will be discussing "The Boat People" by Sharon Bala on Tuesday, April 2 at 7 p.m.

Conquer your cabin fever by coming to the library for their free movie, complete with popcorn, this Satruday, 9 March, starting at 11 a.m.
Or if you're looking for a more intellectual activity, come hear talks on the History of Warfare by Dr. Lomax, retired ONU history professor. On Wednesday, March 20, at 3:30 p.m., Dr. Lomax will focus on the Gunpowder Revolution. The Industrial Total Warfare will be the focus for the next Wednesday, March 27, and on April 3, the topic will be Asymmetric Warfare.
