Ohio Northern University has announced that hospitality corporation Waterford Hotel Group is now handling management of The Inn at Ohio Northern University, 401 W. College Ave. The transition took place on Jan. 18.
Waterford Hotel Group, a Connecticut-based industry leader for more than 30 years, manages 36 hotels in nine states, such as a Westin in Columbus and a Comfort Inn in Piqua and on college campuses such as Amherst College, Williams College and Gettysburg College.

On March 8, we observe International Women’s Day, a celebration of the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women.
Of course, women still tend to encounter more obstacles than men in the pursuit of financial security. Let’s consider a few of them.
To begin with, women are still more likely to leave the workforce, at least temporarily, to raise children, resulting in lower contributions to employer-sponsored retirement plans such as 401(k)s.
Sue Thompson, human resources manager in the Liberty National Bank, Ada office, retired at the end of the year.
While she retired on Dec. 31, the bank employees celebrated her retirement safely at the Ada office on Feb. 5.
She began her career with Liberty on Nov. 13, 1995, as a receptionist in the Ada Office. Sue has worked in loan processing (Ada Office), and eventually moved into a role in the HR department in 2010. She became the human resources manager in 2015
