New Leaf project at First United Methodist

The landscaping and planting along Main Street at the new United Methodist Church are doing well.

Ada Full Gospel VBS July 27-30

Ada Full Gospel Church, 1047 State Route 235, Ada, will hold its Vacation Bible School from Monday, July 27 to Thursday, July 30, from 6 to 9 p.m. The VBS is for youth ages 3 to teens.

VBS planners say: "Grab your expedition gear and prepare for Journey Off the Map! Come join us as we discover truths about Jesus-the Ultimate Guide! Kids will enter the Worship Rally at Overlook and make their first stop in the  Tangled Branch Tree House for Bible study.

While on their journey, kids will also visit:
·  Survival Springs for snacks
·  Rappelling Ravine for recreation
·  Rushing Waters for music
·  And Shady Grove for crafts

Grace Gospel VBS underway

Heavenly Hospital VBS theme at Liberty Baptist

Puppets and evangelist Jim Walker help kids learn Bible verses at the Liberty Baptist Church on Monday.

Nineteen children attended the first evening. VBS continues from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. through Friday.
This year's theme is Heavenly Hospital, providing care that changes lives forever.

The church is located a few miles north of Ada on State Route 235. The address is 2955 County Road 20. The phone number is 567-204-2441.

Sugar Grove and First UMC Vacation Bible School Aug. 2-5

First United Methodist Church and Sugar Grove United Methodist Church will hold their summer Vacation Bible School from Sunday, Aug. 2, to Wednesday, Aug. 5, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at the First UMC, Ada.

This year's VBS theme centers on devouring The Fruits of the Spirit. Those include patience, faithfulness, self-control, kindness, joy, gentleness, love, goodness and peace.

VBS is open to youth ages 3 to sixth grade. To register your child email to: [email protected], or call the church at 419-634-4626 between 9 a.m. and noon Mondays through Fridays.

 

 

Jungle Safari VBS at First Baptist

Dressed for the part, adults take time to pose for a picture during the First Baptist Church VBS which has Jungle Safari as its theme this year.

Fifteen youngsters attended on Tuesday. The closing program will be at 8 p.m. on Friday.
