Cory-Rawson High School presents "Cinderella" Friday and Saturday, April 12 and 13, at 7 p.m. in the school auditorium., according to Meredith Bixel, vocal music director.

Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for students and may be purchased now in the school office or at the door the evening of the performances.

Kiwanis flipping them Saturday AM

How many pancakes can you eat?

Find out on Saturday. It's the 67th annual Ada Kiwanis Club Pancake and Sausage Day. If you're counting, it began back in 1952.

The meal will be served from 7 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 30, in the Ada Schools cafeteria.

The cost is $7 pre-sale and $8 at the door for the all-you-can-eat meal. Children 10 and under are free.

Apollo Career Center will hold its seventh annual Apollopalooza on April 11, 5:30-7 p.m. Apollopalooza will showcase both the high school and adult education programs, celebrate Apollo's partnerships with local businesses, highlight Career Tech opportunities, its students and instructors. The event is free and open to the public.

For over 40 years, Apollo has provided workforce development to thousands of adult and high school students. The training and programs offered, as well as the equipment and technology used, has changed dramatically since the doors opened to the first classes.

This is the fourth annual Women LEAD event. This year’s keynote presentation is a celebration of outstanding Hardin County Women’s Professionals sharing their perspective on life, success and living passionately.
