FROM FACEBOOK__The Ada Area Chamber of Commerce has announced that the annual Merry on Main event will be held December 13 from 11 a.m.-2 p.m.: "Bring the family and enjoy a festive afternoon filled with holiday cheer — shopping, food, music, activities, and plenty of small-town magic.
"Stay tuned for the full schedule of fun, but for now… mark your calendars and plan to join us on Main Street!"

Planning a large, outdoor event that takes over the entire downtown of the Village of Ada is a huge undertaking. The Ada Area Chamber of Commerce did just that on Saturday, September 20, when the 39th annual Harvest and Herb Festival provided shopping, dining, networking and entertainment for residents and many, many guests.
MEDIA RELEASE__St. Mark Lutheran Church, which is located at Lincoln and Johnson Streets in Ada, will be serving up its community meal this Wednesday, September 24, from 5:00 to 6:30, or until we run out.
The meal is free and open to the community. This month's menu consists of chicken and noodles, mashed potatoes, green beans, fruit and a cookie.
You may dine in, carry out, or drive up for curbside service. If you require more than eight meals you will need to call 419-792-0911 before noon on Tuesday so that we can be prepared for large orders.
We have run out of food for the last three months. We look forward to serving everyone.
FROM FACEBOOK__Fall Brawl Classes for Saturday, September 20 at Ada War Memorial Park, east Lima Ave. entrance. Order will be determined on the day of the event. Pull starts at 3:00 p.m. and registration opens at 1:45 p.m.
Admission is $10 for adults, kids 10 And under are free with a paid adult. Seniors and veterans admission is free.
Bleacher seating is available with plenty of room for lawn chairs. Food vendors are on site.
