Food, music, and fellowship will be on the agenda when the Ada Senior Citizens meet on Wednesday, June 14, at Community Health Professionals. A carry-in picnic will kick-off the festivities at noon.
The female trio, Believe!, will provide the vocal entertainment and inspirational messages. Believe! Formed 2010. Barb Swartz, Cindy Zachman and Stacy Kirkey met while participating in an Emmaus Walk, a nondenominational Christian retreat.
There will be a short business meeting. Cards and games will be available.
The June 28 meeting will begin at 12:30 p.m. at CHP and will consist of a short business meeting followed by cards and games.
The public is invited to the Ada Family Center fourth annual Movie in the Park on Saturday, June 10.
The evening begins at War Memorial Park at 6 p.m. with food and games, including a bounce house, corn hole tourney, and 9-square. Hotdogs, candy, and popcorn will be available.
The movie begins at 8:30 p.m.
The Ada Family Center is a church which usually meets in McIntosh Center on Sunday mornings. Ray Hadley is pastor.
Liberty National Bank and Community Health Professionals of Ada host a free Lunch and Learn from noon to 1 p.m. on Thursday, June 15, at Community Health Professionals, 1200 S. Main St., Ada.
The topic is “Understanding Annuities: The good, the Bad and the Ugly” presented by Michael McMeans, CFP of Liberty Financial Services, LLC.

The Ada Police Department, in conjunction with the ReStore lunch program, will conduct a S.A.F.E.R. Academy for Youth this June at Ada War Memorial Park.
The event is open to children ages 5-17 (parents with young children welcome too) and is intended to provide an overview of the many different agencies involved in the public safety field.
It will be held daily from 10 a.m. until noon the week of June 19-23 prior to the ReStore lunch program.
Each day will feature different organizations and exhibits.
Thirty-four works in various media by Ohio artist Chris Leeper will be displayed in the Ellen Nelson Gallery of ArtSpace/Lima beginning Friday, June 9, according to Bill Sullivan.
The exhibit will run through Saturday, July 22. There will be a reception for the artist on Sunday, July 16, from 2 to 4 p.m.
Leeper is a prominent Ohio painter and watercolorist and resident in Canfield. He is a member of the adjunct faculty in the Department of Art at Youngstown State University.
Operation Arctic is the theme of the Ada Baptist Church vacation Bible school this year. VBS, for youth 4-12 years old, will be held from 6-8 p.m. Sunday-Thursday, June 4-8 at the church, 350 W. North Ave. For more information, call 419-634-8041.
