The seventh-seeded Ohio Northern women's basketball program advanced to its 10th straight Ohio Athletic Conference Tournament Semifinal Tuesday evening, toppling second-seeded Baldwin Wallace 70-53 at Ursprung Gymnasium in the OAC Tournament Quarterfinals.
With the victory, the Polar Bears improve to 14-12 overall on the season and ensure the program's 10th consecutive winning season.
"It was a great team win for us over a really strong Baldwin Wallace squad," head coach Michele Durand stated. "I am really proud of my team and their effort this evening. We could not have played harder or asked for more out of our athletes tonight."
Yesterday, with temperatures in the low 40s, was a great day for a run. Here are some ONU students taking advantage of the rare somewhat sunny February afternoon. Today things have changes and running outdoors is not high on anyone's list.
