State Senator Cliff Hites brings Batman to Ada library

Friday morning for some super hero storyies

Batman returns to Ada at 11 a.m. Friday, June 9.

He'll bring his side-kick State Senator Cliff Hite with him for a return visit of Batman Storytime at the Ada Public Library. Hite and Batman (or are they one and same?) visited the library two summers ago for a similiar storytime.

Sen. Hite is a former teacher and coach, so interacting with children just comes naturally.

In the photo he gives a fist bump to Daniel Klear.

Sen. Hite is a Republican from Findlay and has represented this area as senator since 2011.

He serves on the following committees: agriculture, education, energy and natural resources, public utilities and rules and reference.

But, his nose is soft

Toledo Zoo education representatives Nate Dick and Caroline Bearss, brought several animals from Toledo to Community Health Professional's meeting room Monday. Among the creatures were a python, a Mexican porcupine, and a tarantula. The program's focus was on how animals adapt to their surroundings. The event was part of the Ada Public Library's summer schedule of special activities. (Ken Collins photos)
