That's Jane Helser (center) standing among more than 30 cutouts that form a holiday display in her yard. Her home is located near the end of West Buckeye Avenue.

The Cask Room, 127 S. Main St., Ada, will host a book signing for Ada author, Lynne Scott, from 3 to 5:30 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 12, according to Steve Bates of The Cask Room.
The event celebrates the release of the Ada author's newest book “Learning to Heel.”

Desperate for anonymity and perspective, fading A-list actor Michael Quinlan drives to the middle of nowhere. Searching for anything to keep him from thinking about his own problems, he stumbles upon his neighbor, Lauren Sanders, a young, gun-wielding widowed dog trainer.
Sharon R. Guthrie, 52, died Dec. 7, 2015, at Lima Memorial Health System. Sharon was born Feb. 17, 1963, in Columbus to Harold "Gus" and Norma (Shelton) Guthrie.
Sharon graduated from Cory-Rawson High School in 1981. She attended Bluffton College, graduated from Rhodes State College in Phlebotomy and also graduated from the Ohio State Beauty Academy, Lima. She was a manager at Ottawa Valley Group Home in Lima for 15 years. She also was owner/operator of Sharon's Sentiments, Ada, worked in sales at Town and County Furniture, Ada, and worked part-time at the Ada Flea Market for her father.
